Advanced filtering in WEB client is becoming more user and advanced user friendly.
1. Visual changes
You will notice the new spatial look that the panel gained by the separating line and colour.
Comparison types are distinguished by the Italics font.
2. Performance
A neat pop-up screen serves to add and edit a filtering field and expressions.
Confirmation of choice with Enter places you in the next field and OK button at the end.
You can benefit from the helping drop-down lists with multi-select options where applicable.
Value is the only variable you can edit once you click on a set filter.
3. Customization
Administrators and consultants have the advantage of a whole new concept of presetting an advanced filter panel, through the Customize panel section in the menu. They "switch on" combinations of a filter and a comparison type, "tuned" later with a value by the users.
The layout can also be saved after an important filter change.
Users can set three main kinds of filters:
- Common (dynamic) – а filling funnel – it is recognized as such when added with the + button, through the filtering row or an URL is opened
- Pinned – a pin – always active, when you pin a common filter or when it is added through the Customize panel section
- Locked – a locker – when you lock a common or pinned filter. It is always active and accessible only by admins
