In our Inventory Control module, the trash bin icon is essential for managing product counts. Now there are two types of bins in use, functioning at all operations - Receive, Issue, Scrap, Transfer, Quick Reconcile, and Planned Reconcile.
"Delete-all" bin is located to the right of a scanned product in the Info panel. It deletes all counts of the observed product.
Previously, clicking the bin would instantly erase product counts. Now, a confirmation message ensures users are aware before deletion. This prompt appears immediately after clicking the bin, requiring confirmation before all product counts are removed — as if the product was never counted.
Here is an example at Receive operation:
Here is an example at Transfer operation:
This enhancement prevents accidental deletions, making inventory management more controlled and precise.
"Delete-row" bin represents individual bins for each counted product row. Generally this bins allows deletion of selected rows and product counts in case scanned by mistake while executing an order or at Quick reconcile.
It is helpful with products having lots or variants, allowing users to delete distributed quantities for specific lots or variants. For example, if a scanned quantity is spread across multiple lots, users can now remove the count for a chosen lot without affecting others.
Here is an example on how to correct a mistaken Quick reconcile count:
Another visual change in the Info panel worth mentioning is that we hid additional product codes in a collapsible panel, accessible with a single click, to declutter the interface and enhance focus.
These improvements provide greater precision and control over inventory management. Try them out in your workflow and experience enhanced accuracy!
