Inventory Control: Counted quantity can be edited during the execution of operations (v.25)

To enhance accuracy, efficiency, and flexibility in inventory operations, we have introduced the ability to edit the executed quantity in key Inventory Control processes: Receive, Issue, Scrap, Transfer, and Quick Reconcile.

We recognize that during fast-paced warehouse operations, mistakes can happen—whether due to scanning errors, miscounts, or handling variations in products with lots and variants. To ensure a flawless, on-the-go correction process, users can now adjust scanned or counted quantities directly during execution, eliminating the need for later adjustments in the Store transaction.

How It Works:

  • A light grey quantity box indicates an editable field.
  • Clicking on the box triggers a pop-up edit box, where users can:
      • modify the quantity using up/down arrows or manual input.
      • confirm changes with the OK button.
      • disregard changes with Cancel button

Important: If a quantity is corrected to zero, it will be recorded as counted ZERO rather than never counted.

Key Benefits:

🟠 Real-time adjustments: Correct errors instantly without interrupting workflow;
🟠 Increased accuracy: Reduce discrepancies in stock reconciliation;
🟠 Optimized for variants & lots: Simplifies handling of complex product structures;
🟠 Seamless execution: No need for post-processing corrections in Store transactions.

This enhancement empowers users to maintain precise inventory records without slowing down operations.
