In version 24, you can decide whether to track all field (attribute) changes for documents across a particular document type.
Regular tracking makes it easier to follow specific changes in documents. However, you now have the option to keep it off if it’s not needed, thus preventing unnecessary accumulation of data.
You can determine how changes are tracked with the help of the Track Attribute Changes field found in the Document Type definition. For more information on how the available options affect your experience, please refer to our technical guide.
Note that regardless of the Track Attribute Changes field configuration, the information about when and by whom changes were made will still be available.
