New generation procedures for receipt Store Orders from Transfer Orders LOG0211 & LOG0212 (v.24)

In version 24, we’ve presented two new generations for Receipt Store Orders when transferring goods between stores:

• LOG0211: Create receipt Store order for the issued products
• LOG0212: Create receipt Store order for the products remaining to be issued

These new generations are designed to be used in sequential execution flows. This means they wait for the actual stock to be issued from the originating store before proceeding with the creation of the receipt store orders. They replaced the outdated generation: "Create receipt Store order for the actually issued products and a separate order for the rest for planning only" which relied on an old calculation method and often generated inaccurate or unnecessary entries, especially when lot handling is involved.

Benefits of the new generations

1. Advanced matching algorithm - no more errors and redundant (null) rows. 
   Both generations come with an improved algorithm that matches and calculates line items accurately, even in complex scenarios involving multiple store transactions, completed lines, and lots breakdowns. This ensures precise execution regardless of how complicated the issuing process becomes.

2. Separation of the generations - flexibility in setup
    The new system features two separate generations, allowing you to choose different document types in both flows with varying default settings. This flexibility also enables companies to skip the planning flow altogether if it’s not needed, preventing the accumulation of unnecessary documents at every step in the process.

3. Improved date accuracy - no more false over-execution errors
   The generation for the issued goods (LOG0211) now uses the current date when creating documents, instead of copying the transfer date. This change better reflects the reality of business processes and avoids issues with mismatched dates in the receipt flow, which often result in incorrect over-execution quantity errors.

4. Speed and efficiency - less waiting
   The new generations are optimized for speed by eliminating unnecessarily complex calculations. This results in faster processing times, making them more efficient for businesses of all sizes.

These updates in version 24 improve accuracy and flexibility and streamline the entire stock transfer process, ensuring smoother operations and more reliable documentation.
