Your communication is about to become even better organized with a bundle of new features in ERP.net: Pinning and Reorganizing Social Groups. These functionalities will make navigating through all your collaboration groups a breeze.
You’ll no longer find yourself searching for those groups you regularly use in a long list of groups that appear depending on when the last message was written in them.
There’s a new approach to take: Pin + Reorganize Groups now makes it extremely easy to put your important or often used groups at the top of your list – always finding them in the place and order you favor.
How It Works
ERP.net’s Social Groups app now displays a navigation panel featuring the sections:
- Pinned: A branch containing all your pinned groups, sorted in the order of pinning from first to last (by default) or an order of your choice (accessed through the Groups navigation panel settings).
- Recent: A branch showing all the rest of social groups you participate in, sorted by the date and time of their last update (any message by a member or any system message in their chat), from most recent to oldest updated.
The Pinned branch is positioned at the top of your Groups navigation panel.
Pinning any group from your Recent branch will move it to the Pinned branch, placing it after all already pinned groups, at the bottom of this branch.
All ERP.net groups you pin will stay fixed in their position in this branch, so they never move out of your preferred order, regardless of the activity within all the social groups you participate in.
ERP.net also provides a panel for reorganizing groups – a simple and easy-to-use settings panel to change the places of your groups in your Pinned branch anytime you need to.
The Pin + Reorganize Groups intuitive features in ERP.net give you a way to determine a well-known place for all the groups you have in mind, and then access them – quickly and easily, in the same manner, again and again.
How to Use the Pin + Reorganize Groups Features
Pinning, unpinning, and shifting groups’ places are no more than a few taps in ERP.net.
Pinning:
- Open the Social Groups app in your ERP.net platform.
- Select a group you’d like to pin from your Recent list (in the Groups navigation panel).
- Tap on the menu button right next to it, then select the Pin group option.
- Do the same for any other groups you want pinned.
Your pinned groups appear in the Pinned branch, located at the top of your navigation panel, in the order you pinned them.
Unpinning:
- Select any group in your Pinned branch you want to remove.
- Tap on the menu button right next to it, then select the Unpin group option.
The group is moved back to the Recent branch, where groups are sorted by their last update time.
Reorganizing Pinned Groups:
- In your Groups navigation panel, select the menu button right next to the Pinned branch’s title.
- Toggle on or off any groups in your Items list to pin or unpin them. This is the same as pinning or unpinning a group from its context menu, shown in the previous sections.
- Go to the Reorder tab. Drag and drop any group up or down to change its place.
- Close the Pinned Groups Settings Panel.
Your pinned groups are now sorted in your preferred order. Pinning any other groups will simply add them at the bottom of your Pinned section.
