WMS Worker: Reconcile – accept non counted products (v.26)

Inventory reconciliation is a critical but often time-consuming process in warehouse operations. Especially in fast-moving environments, counting every single product can be impractical. That’s why we’ve introduced a new feature in WMS Worker – Accept Non Counted, designed to speed up the process and enhance control.

💡 What is this feature?

The new context menu option Accept Non Counted allows users to automatically mark all uncounted products at the current location or LUN as correct based on their expected quantities in the system. There is no need to manually confirm each individual product with zero difference — the system handles that for you.

🚀 Key benefits

⏱️ 1. Faster reconciliation

In large locations or LUNs where only some items are checked, operators can focus on real discrepancies instead of re-confirming expected stock. This reduces reconciliation time significantly.

🧾 2. Full traceability

A separate Warehouse Transaction is generated for each product accepted in this way, with the field IsAutoAccepted = True. This ensures full traceability of products accepted without physical counting — useful for audits, risk management, and quality assurance.

  • Audits: Internal or external reviews require a clear record of what was physically counted and what was system-accepted. The IsAutoAccepted flag provides the necessary evidence for tracking operator activity during reconciliation.

  • Risk management: By identifying products and locations with frequent auto-acceptance, teams can monitor where physical verification is being skipped more often and decide whether additional checks or adjustments are needed.

  • Quality assurance: Helps ensure that warehouse processes are being followed consistently. Reconciliation results can be analyzed to improve procedures and maintain data reliability.

🔄 3. Change-aware behavior

If the operator later updates the product — either by counting it manually or deleting it — the system:

  • Clears the auto-accepted status (IsAutoAccepted = False)

  • Resets the quantity to zero, preventing accidental duplication and ensuring that manual counting starts fresh.

👤 4. Operator accountability

Because auto-accepted transactions are marked separately, managers can clearly distinguish which products were physically verified and which were system-accepted. This enhances visibility into who performed what during reconciliation and improves process accountability.

Accept Non Counted is part of our broader effort to simplify warehouse processes without compromising accuracy or control. It delivers clear operational benefits — faster reconciliation, full traceability, better process control, and reliable data — all built directly into WMS Worker.
It’s especially helpful in real-world situations like partial zone checks or high-paced shifts, where physically verifying every product may not be practical.
